President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday arrived in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, on a one-day working visit as part of the 25th anniversary of the creation of Osun State.
The president arrived with his entourage at the newly built Government High School, Osogbo and was received by Governor Rauf Aregbesola.
Dignitaries at the event include, Oyo State Governor, Mr. Senator Abiola Ajimobi; Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode; the Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shitu; former Governor of the state, Olagunsoye Oyinlola; Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Mr. Najeem Salaam, and members of the Assembly.

Ogunwusi and the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi; Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Adekunle Aromolaran, the Ataoja of Osogbo and the Timi of Ede.
President Buhari shortly after the inauguration joined and lead the Zuhr prayers held inside the Government house. He assures Nigerians that despite the various challenges facing the country, Nigeria will be great again under his watch.
Joined in the prayers are the Governor of the state of Osun,Oyo, Borno and the Honourable Minister of Communications Wahab Shittu, among others. He further urged Muslim Clerics to continue to pray for the nation and that things would get better.
He also assured of his commitment in ensuring the safety of lives and property in the country. The President said "I thank you for your prayers for the nation.God will help us to secure Nigeria and efficiently manage it.Please continue to pray for us. I can assure you that Nigeria will be great again"
